Rasika Kale is the founder of Rasika’s Creative Cakes, a home-based bakery in Ontario. After moving to Canada from India in 2019 and leaving behind her career as a science teacher, she discovered baking during the 2020 pandemic and taught herself everything from scratch.

Once she earned her Food Handler Certification, she began taking orders and built the business while raising two children, often baking until 2 a.m. to deliver fresh cakes. Today she creates made-from-scratch cakes, cupcakes, brownies and desserts, including eggless and nut-free options, for families’ special occasions. Alongside baking, she has pursued modelling, with her work published in several magazines.
